My dear Sir,

I gladly sign the address you sent me. I suppose that I am singular in writing to express my regrets and surprise that the nations of Europe sent representative to conference to parcel out amongst themselves the Congo country without in any way considering or recognizing the native rights to their land.

What an outcry is raised about the injustice of Land Laws in Ireland and the nationalization of land in this country, but not a voice was raised against the internationalization of Africa.

Believe me

Yours very truly

C.J. Abraham
