Dear Sir,

Why the reporters should have placed me down as president at the colonial office meeting yesterday I am at a loss to conceive. It is annoying and absurd. I see also Sir Henry Barkly’s … in the telegragh as Mr Barkly I think on another occasion we should mistrust these reporters and not allow such misleading statements to be published.
