On my return home I found some letters from the Hon Southy appointing tomorrow morning at 10:30 to see us; Mr Fowler on Wednesday at 1 ocl. Admiral Bouverie is going out of town, but will certainly attend on our behalf and if permitted to speak at the conference; and one from Mr da Costa who will endeavour to see you and confer on the subject as he is but imperfectly informed on questions relating to S African affairs. But no letter from Sir William McArthur.
With king and best wishes to your esteemed family.
Believe me dear Sir, Your obedient Samuel L. Moroka
