Lower Road, Islington

Dear Sir,

I regret that it will be quite out of my power to breakfast with you on Thursday, though I should much like to see you.

I cannot get leave of absence from the College where I am earlier than 11 o’clock. Today I shall be with Mr Roebuck and James Bell for some hours after 12, at 19 Ashley Place Victoria St to meet some other members of the Committee and put them up to the mores you will find us there if you are passing, and any recent news from Canada and Ryman’s book will be very valuable. Come if you can.

In great haste
Truly yours
AK Isbister
