The Revd J S Watson has come up from Lutterworth this afternoon, and would so much like to take Samuel Moroka and Mr Sekue back with him tomorrow to stay until Monday morning, if you have nothing particular for them to do during that time. I am sending this to your private residence, because I feel you will have left your office before this reaches you there. May I ask for an answer by return of post, as Mr Watson would have to leave here by eleven o’clock tomorrow morning. Mr Watson was Moroka’s tutor when he was in England 22 years ago.
With apologies for troubling you,
I am
Yours truly
E Whitfield
