My dear Sir,

Your … of the 13 … I duly received with enclosed copy of address.

In my private capacity without mention of the name of my firm (that is my partner’s name) I shall be willing to make one of you deputation to present this address.

The correspondence you mention I shall be happy to look over and if you will send me a post card giving a time I shall send a clerk for it, in case it might be lost in parcel delivery.

I fear I may not be able to give it much time nor to give ideas of any value to you but I should like to see the correspondence and would return it promptly.

I have to go to France in a couple of weeks time and then to Algiers and will be away a couple of weeks probably.

I return to Kaffraria in March with my family.

I shall be there for some months perhaps for some years, but in King W Town where I … I will always be at your service for any information that I can give you …

Soon after I reach the Colony I shall probably visit many of my old friends in Kaferlands.

Believe me dear Sir
Yours faithfully
Julius … Jameson
