The European Mail and The Colonies and India

Dear Sir,

We learn that King Tawhiao will embark tomorrow onboard the ‘Potosi’, and as it is probable that we shall send down to obtain some particulars with respect to his embarkation, I should be glad if you could inform us whether His Majesty will embark at the usual time, and proceed by the usual train from Fenchurch Street Station at one o’clock tomorrow, or whether he will proceed later on. I may add that Messers Anderson, Anderson and Co have referred me to you, as they say that they have been advised he may embark later than the usual train.

Yours truly,
R Scott
Manager
