Dear Sir,
Thank you for returning this. If it is not troubling you too much would you mind reading the enclosed letter which came to my sister this morning. Do you think it advisable to print part of it in the sketch of Samuel’s case, say from page 8, ‘five years ago’ to page 11, ‘he has told me of their history so pitifully …’.
This letter is in answer to one my sister wrote to Samuel last year, and which never reached him, as he was aboard on his way here. I think the quotation from Miss Foxwell’s letter would show people what the feeling is of those out there who know the truth of Samuel’s case. It had been a mystery to me, how it was that after having been back with his father for 16 years he had managed to let Sepinare get the better of him. This letter gives an idea of the treachery used.
